In Store Purchases
We accept cash, debit and credit (Visa & Mastercard only; AMEX is accepted for purchases of $50 and over before taxes)
Online Orders
We accept money order, certified cheque, email money transfer and credit cards (Visa & Mastercard; and AMEX for over $50 before taxes). For credit card purchases, simply send us an email of what you wish to purchase and we will contact you for purchase procedure.
Putting an Animal on Hold
To put an animal on hold, a deposit of 20% of the total value of the animal is required with a minimum of $20. Animals are placed on hold for a maximum of 2 weeks unless otherwise arranged ahead of time. Any deposit left for an animal is non-refundable but can be reused as a store credit. After the 2 week hold period, if the animal has not been picked up and no arrangement has been made for store credit, the deposit is deemed forfeited and is non refundable.
Layaway/Payment Plan
We provide payment plans for purchases of $300 and up before taxes. Allotted times for payment plans are custom arranged according to the value of the animal and the customer. There is a maximum time limit of 3 months for full payment.
Health Guarantee
Live animals have a health guarantee of 7 days after leaving the premises of the store. Exceptions apply for all amphibians, arachnids, and chameleons, which have a guarantee of only 3 days. These animals are extremely susceptible to stressful environments and we can not guarantee your terrarium environments at home. We urge you to fully inspect your purchase before taking anything home.
